We are also experiencing unresponsive views in TC browser for the last 4-5 days. This issue seriously impacts the daily work of many groups of TC Users. Could it be a problem with a limitation with your TC cloud server not being able to receive/manage the data? Please advise.

Hi Tibor,
Thanks for the replies, much appreciated.
Within the below screenshot the view is unresponsive. It has frozen while rotating with the members highlighted. What is funny is that I can still select members via the Data Table, and the Selection Toolbar shows 1 member selected.

Even if I turn the model off, the view is now dead and will not change.

If I turn the model back on I get a black screen.

I am also getting this problem when moving around the model with no parts selected. I am constantly crashing within a minute or two.
Just to note that I have never had this problem before yesterday.

Have more details. Can happen without Organizer, although that (its rule-based groups that reference different models) is a very easy way to reproduce it.
Steps: load a model; select some elements; unload the model.
Here it goes wrong already, the outline of the selection remains in the viewer and from nopw on the viewer doesn't react to anything. The console log says that "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'byteLength')" happened in WebGLRenderer.js - this might explain why the viewer's internals remains in an unstable (non-working) state.
A workaround is to unselect everything before unloading a model. Of course this is not a good workaround, easy to forget and not easy to figure out when a model unload will happen.

Hi Mark,
Do I get it right that it's happening when some workflow tries to select a lot ot 3D elements? (Organizer is one example that can do this but not the only one.)
I quickly tried it and there is something. Is it similar to what you experienced?
- without having any model loaded in 3D I selected a rule-base group in Organizer => the involved model was loaded and the elements selected.
- changed to a different rule-based group in Organizer => the previous model got unloaded and the other model was supposed to be loaded.
BUT the viewer went out of sync in different ways.
- elements of first model disappeared but their highlighted outline remained there, selection seems to remain from the first model.
- or, the highlighted outline of the new model's elements appeared but not the elements themselves. Selection did change to the now model elements.
- "Reset models" button had no effect.
- Actually I didn't had to use large models, small and very small was enough.
Changing to other rule-based groups made it more confusing, after 4-5 groups I couldn't follow what am I seeing in 3D.
Can I ask you to file a support ticket to Connect? It gives more visibility for the developer teams, support folks will know about it when others report it, etc.
Thank you,
Tibor K

Hi,
A new version of Trimble Connect for Browser was implemented earlier today (via a refresh in the browser).
Since this, my 3D Viewer is constantly hanging, especially when using the Organizer which highlights all members.
Is anybody else experiencing the same?
I am getting the same in both Edge and Chrome, and have cleared cache etc.
UPDATE The 3D Viewer seems to become non-responsive as soon as multiple members are highlighted in the view.
Cheers,
Mark
