Trimble Connect for Revit Upload Shared Coordinate Issue new V2.0.6 version

    Hi,

I just upgrade to the V2.0.6 Trimble Connect for Revit version.

Believe the new version has an issue for uploading shared coordinate models. When I was using the old 1.92 version, never had this issue before.

Doesn't look like the new V2.0.6 version is uploading the model to the correct shared coordinates.

See attached, my Revit model Project base point is set at N/S:-63222.0, E/W:-29260.0, Elevation: -34520.

My ground level is at +34520 above project base point, I manually draw some Grid lines at Ground level, which is now RL.00, these lines are +34520 above base point elevation.

But when, uploading into Trimble Connect, the model is load in the completely wrong place. I have been working on this project for few months now with the older version, all the relevant project  models were uploaded to the correct location.

Looks to me that, the new version has changed the way how model is uploaded, the older version, pick the Revit Survey point as 0,0,0 point, but the new version use somethin different now. You can see the new model I uploaded is lot lower than before.

Can Trimble please help with this? This has cause some major issue to me half way in the project.

    Revit project base point issue
Revit project base point issue 2
Revit project base point issue 3

    Hello,

same issue. Want to upload four models using Shared Coordinates. The first one in the correct position, the other three models in the same position as the first (seems that the coordinates from the first model are "saved" or something like that). Found this workaround: close and open Revit before every model upload.

    Best regards,

    VV
