When displaying the content of an IFC file in a view, the Attribute value of a specific object is incorrectly represented.
In Tekla Structures, I configured the UDA with the EXCEPTVOL attribute for two objects, and I calculated and input their values as follows.
I exported the two objects as IFC4 using the export function. To export the user attributes, I configured the additional property set as follows.
I imported the IFC file into Trimble Connect and checked the object attributes.
I found that the EXCEPTVOL attribute value of the object on the left is incorrect. The original value of 29,326,500,000 should have been there, but the value from the adjacent object's attribute has been input instead.
To verify if the IFC file was generated incorrectly, I checked the IFC contents.
Just in case, I opened the IFC file in another IFC viewer to check the attributes.
Even when viewed in another IFC viewer, the attribute values are displayed correctly.
Therefore, there seems to be no issue with the IFC file itself. The current version of Trimble Connect is as follows.
This issue occurs in both the Windows version and the Web version.
Out of approximately 7,000 objects, this issue occurred with about 2 of them, and in other Tekla models, a similar error occurred with about 3 objects. I want to understand the root cause of this problem. Due to this issue, I cannot trust the data shown in Trimble Connect.
I'm curious about the cause of this issue and would like to know how to resolve it.
(I am attaching the problematic IFC file, so please check it directly)
