    Hello there,

I have some troubles loading the navisworks files type NWD in this TC version 1.24.1.574. Any one know how to this issues and having it solved?

Loading the first NWD files in this TC version is was no issue loading. After updating and having a revised and updated NWD-file its was an issue loading this file.

Strangely and however, this same file does open in a lower TC version (in this case version 1.19.0.483)

note: The TC version 1.19.0.483 is installed on another computer.

    Thanks in advance. Regards, Elvin

See here: Workflows for architects and landscape architects: using Navisworks NWD/NWC. Make sure there are no point cloud points in the NWD. Also, the latest trimble connect for windows should help with NWD support.

for me , Navisworks files will import into Trimble Connect but I have never managed to import a revit file. I always assumed it wasn't possible.
Two years ago I almost gave up on Trimble Connect but then I found the Navisworks models work just fine.

For me , I think we have a long way to go on trying to get software that can read BIM models properly.
On top of that , you have software that will only run if you have internet. So many faulty cogs in this engine.

All I'm trying to do is physically build what this model represents. The model where hundreds of people have taken years and years of man hours to produce.

Things certainly have gotten way more complicated.
