Trimble Mobile Manager Not Opening

I am currently using a Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 tablet with a Trimble R1 receiver. I am running Trimble Mobile Manager and ArcGIS Field Maps. When I try to open the Trimble Mobile Manager application, I get to a screen where it says "Mobile Manager Connecting..." and it doesn't get any further. In the settings of the tablet, it says that it is paired with the R1. I'm hoping for help getting these two devices connected. Thank you.

    Hi Jason,

First of all apologies that you haven't received any response to your query, I hope that you have been able to resolve the issue. If not some questions/suggestions:

    1. Have you tried opening Mobile Manager directly, and if so do you get the same message? If yes then it might be worth completely removing and reinstalling the application.
    2. If you have the issue after reinstalling do you have any mobile device management solutions controlling your device?
    3. If Trimble Mobile Manager works directly but you see the error when using Field Maps please make sure that Trimble Mobile Manager is not connected to the receiver.

We have a blog that describes how the two apps work together here.

    Best regards,

    Mark,

I was able to get Mobile Manager to work. What seemed to be keeping it from working was that I didn't give it permission to access voice calls.

When setting it up it asked for permissions for various things, access to photos, etc. When it got to voice calls, I didn't give it permission because I didn't see what A had to do with B. I noticed that when I denied permission, it asked for it a second time. I decided to just give it permission and then it worked. Not sure what was up with all that, but it's functional now.
