Hi there,

I have just got a Samsung S20 specifically so I could run UAV Ground Control. Unfortunately I am getting a message on the play store saying that it is not compatible with my version of Android as it was made for an older version.

Literally all I want to do is collect point data for Ground Control Points for Drone Mapping with a DA2.

Any suggestions?

Can you confirm your Android OS version please (SETTINGS > ABOUT PHONE > SOFTWARE INFORMATION) and the date of the last security patch applied please
If you just want a csv output of control points the UAV GCP app is the best option here.

Assuming you have a Catalyst DA1 or DA2 , the other compatible software we have that would fulfil the task of capturing high accuracy GCP and outputting to csv are Trimble Terraflex and Trimble Penmap. What I would say are that these are both professional GIS Data Collection and Hybrid Survey software packages so will be 'overkill' for your task. The cost also reflects this
