Uncertainty of point cloud surfaces and CAD points

    Does anyone know what type of interpolation method is used to create the CAD points from the point cloud? And, what type of interpolation method is used to create surfaces from the CAD points? I am trying to estimate the error associated with the CAD points and surfaces. Thank you!
