@Veronica Sew this could be a good option for us! I didn't realize the authenticator app we use (Microsoft) could be used to generate codes locally. Thanks for the suggestion!
@Scott Weber using the Google authenticator app would be the same concept, but we'll stick with the Microsoft one since we're already using it.

Subject: Upcoming 2FA change workaround?
Our organization found that using an authenticator app is working for us. When you set the 2FA in https://myprofile.trimble.com and choose the Authenticator option - save the QR code image and share it to your team members. This QR code will generate the same code across multiple authenticators
From a Trimble bulletin:
For shared accounts, we strongly recommend using an Authenticator App installed on the shared field controller itself. This allows any crew member using that specific device to generate a code locally without needing access to the central email account or a personal phone.

Subject: Upcoming 2FA change workaround?
The upcoming 2 factor authentication requirement is going to be problematic for us. It seems like we'll have to use email verification because we use shared iPads managed by a MDM (can't sign in with Apple ID to use passkeys). Email is problematic because sometimes the iPad is used by multiple people on a site during the same day, so the person using the device may not have immediate access to retrieve the code. Is there any way to exempt user IDs from the requirement or authenticate at the device level?
Is anyone else facing similar challenges? Thanks.
