Trimble Connect for Browser

Starting November 1st 2020, Internet Explorer 11 will no longer be a support browser. We recommend Internet Explorer users to use Microsoft Edge or another supported browser (listed below).

Trimble Connect for Windows

Trimble Connect for Windows can be installed on a Windows Desktop, Laptop or Tablet. NOTE: Connect for Windows cannot be installed on devices that have ARM-based processors.

Supported Windows Versions

Trimble Connect for Windows only supports Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.

Trimble Connect for Windows application does not support Windows 7. Microsoft has ended technical support for Windows 7 on January 14, 2020 (link to Microsoft support article).

  1. When more than one graphics cards are available in the system, make sure to set the graphics settings of your system so that the higher performance graphics card is used to run the Trimble Connect for Windows application.
  2. High resolution monitors require more GPU. For example, with 4k resolution more GPU is required than with full HD.

buenas sabe estoy intentando configurar por primera vez un GPS TRIMBLE BX 992 y no logro poder acceder a su dirección IP para poder configurarlo que debo hacer o donde puedo conseguir dicha información. 

lo intente con WINPAM pero no me da ingreso a la conexión de los cables RS-232.

I get this screen when trying to use Trimble Connect for iOS (iOS 15.2.1).  I can log into my Trimble ID just fine using Safari, but trying to use the mobile app stops me right here.  No fields are visible/available to enter my login info.  Any ideas?

Hey Richard,

When processing point clouds in Trimble Business Center, recommendations are:

- RAM: 32 GB or more 
- Disk: 100 GB or more on solid-state drive 
- Graphics:  OpenGL version 3.2 or later; 2 GB graphics card 
Notes:
- If you are using a laptop computer with both an integrated (on-board) graphics card and a discrete NVIDIA graphics card enabled via Optimus technology, your computer must allow you to select to disable the integrated graphics card and use only the discreet graphics card when working with point cloud data. 

 

- It is critical that you keep your graphics driver(s) updated if you are working with point cloud data.  Whether your computer has one or multiple graphics cards installed, you must ensure each has been updated with the latest driver provided by the card's manufacturer. The best way to determine if your driver needs to be updated and, if so, perform the update is to visit the card manufacturer's website (If, instead, you decide to update your driver using the Windows Device Manager and the "Search automatically" option, the program may suggest using a Microsoft-approved WHQL version of the driver. However, to ensure you have the latest bug fixes and new features for your graphics card, it is recommended that you use the latest manufacturer version instead.)

What is the spec for the SX10 scanner which is handling millions of points. What size computer is needed.
