Download TrimbleConnectSetup-188.8.131.52-x64.exe and try to install in Windows 7 Pro (64bits) desktop.
Install correct but can't run, don't work!!!

We're sorry to hear about your problem with the Connect for Windows 1.10 release. According to the feedback we've received so far, the crash issue you're experiencing seems to happen only on systems that are running the Windows 7 OS.
Microsoft has ended all technical support for Windows 7 on January 14, 2020 (link to Microsoft support article). According to the article, Windows 7 PCs may become vulnerable to security risks and they should be updated to Windows 10.
Unfortunately this means that we cannot guarantee that the Trimble Connect for Windows application continues to run on Windows 7 systems.

One possibly cure is to manually install Microsoft VC++ Redistributables. Please download the X64 version (vc_redist.x64.exe) from https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads .
I'm suggesting this because Trimble Connect for Windows (TCD) installer should automatically install MSVC redistributables, but there are some catches related to registry settings that installation of vc_redist.x64.exe leaves. One catch is that the registry changes are not removed by uninstalling vc_redist.x64.exe, preventing TCD installer from automatically re-installing vc_redist.x64.exe. This results in TCD not starting.
