Hello. I have a department that has two new Trimble TDC600 handheld units. I have set everything up on them and they have worked properly (and nicely I might add), up until recently. We have a user that when he goes out to collect data, he seems to be stuck on "acquiring location" for very long periods of time. I haven't had this issue on any of the units so I'm wondering if the user could be missing a step?
I have him set up with an offline map in the ESRI Field Maps application and aside from some quirks between Field Maps online and the application itself, I have never experienced an issue with the device not seeming to acquire the location relatively quickly. He is not in an area where tall buildings or tree coverage is a problem.
