 Creating offline basemap from existing tiff or jpeg file

Is Trimble connect able to create offline base maps using existing tiff or jpeg files? 

I have only seen the ability to create offline base maps with street or satellite view.

Currently, we are using TerraSync and are getting ready to move onto Terraflex but one big obstacle is creating backgrounds for our surveyors. We often have our own imagery and plans displayed in tiff/jpeg format that then gets imported through Pathfinder onto TerraSync.
