Hi,
I am interested in deleting a large amount of activities at once as well as any means of replacing the activities as well/instead.
Currently I understand that I can select (Shift+Click) all the activities in Views>Activity List>Task List and click the red X (holding down enter to automatically pass every confirmation of deletion window). This can take several minutes to clear the Task List. Global change (F10) does not seem an appropriate solution as I understand it allows for updating specific fields of the selected range, but this is not what I require.
The easiest method I have found is to save an empty file with the newest setup as a template (.hst) and open this as a new project (.hsp) when I have new activities to import. This is not only more steps than ideal, but also an issue if I make any changes to the setup on the project that I would like reflected on the template (duplication of work, having to remove activities from project to save as activity-free template).
I have a feeling this should have a very simple solution, but having looked through the documentation and trying various things I haven't found a fix.
Many thanks!
It seems that simply using the delete button on the keyboard, rather than the red X on the Task List interface deletes all activities instantly.
