Empty sections when using clip pane

Hi,

When I'm using the clip pane at both end of a section, for example, an I beam or angle, the interior is empty.

This gives the result shown below. When I want to see a cut view at a perfect 90° angle, the section disappear from the view. Is this a normal behavior?

I tried to play with the display settings but nothing works.
