 Project size limit in trimble connect desktop version?

We are having a problem opening one specific project in the desktop version of trimble connect, the online project opens ok. Out of all the projects we have one has a lot of files contained within it compared to all our other projects. My questions are,

Is there a maximum project size that the desktop version can handle?

If there is how can we reduce the desktop version project size without being able to access the project?

Hi Colin,

There is no upper limit on project size specific to Connect for Windows application. 

Could you please send the project details and your device / desktop details  to our Support team (connect-support@trimble.com) , so that we can investigate.
