I have been struggling with this for a while now. I recently started using Trimble Access for general survey. I am trying to import .dxf AutoCAD files into Trimble Access but the scale is always 12 times too big.
I manipulate the cad file in AutoCAD and then save it as a .dxf. I then import it into Trimble Access using the layer menu under job properties. EVERY time I import it, it comes in 12 times too big. I can successfully import a .dwg file and the scale is perfect and as it should be, but as soon as I save it to a .dxf and import, it changes and scales up 12x. For instance, I have walls that are 13" thick and when I import the .dwg, they measure correctly, but when I import the .dxf, they measure 13'-0".
I have looked and looked and looked and cannot find a solution. Please please please someone help me solve this. It has to be something simple I am messing up. Again, I am new to Trimble Access software so still working out the kinks. Thanks in advance for the help.
