First post here and may be going over old ground but I've got a dilemma that I'm hoping someone can help out with.
I'm working in North Africa on a minesite that has received a GPS system consisting of 2 x R780 units (configured as a base and rover unit).
Nothing has been setup for use in the local grid system. The site has a number of surface control points installed and a local survey firm has supplied coords of these points in both the national grid system and the local minesite grid.
I've been asked to try and initiate use of the gps units using the local grid coordinates with a base and rover system in play.
At a loss as to how to set it all in motion as far creating the correct files/formats as well as the job parameters using a TSC5 controller and Trimble Access.
Any info or a point in the right direction as to where I could find the process/procedure would be greatly appreciated if possible.
