It seems the Direct X viewer wants to show every edge in a mesh vs just exterior edges. We are also seeing a lot of examples of mesh display that seems to look like Z fighing but its just internal edges.
There is just one object in the attached image, but its displaying ver oddly.

If you have DirectX selected on Trimble Connect Desktop app, please try change it to OpenGL rendering api instead and see if it provide better result. Click Gear icon at the top right corner of desktop app and have OpenGL option selected and click Close button.
