GIS utility data import--Attaching elevations

Question asked by Jason Combs on Apr 18, 2018

Hello all,

I'm currently working on a project in TBC 4.00 and have imported my utility data (linework) into TBC from GIS via shp files.  That seems to work fine, but what I'm needing to do is attach elevations at manholes, top of pipes, inverts, etc. to get slope information on this data..... I have created a surface with plan/profiles/ and sections but would like the utility data to show spatially referenced vertically in these sheets.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as I'm a novice at best in Trimble Business Center!!!

Thanks,

Jason
