Hello everyone!
I want to link my Trimble R10 (using it with a T10) with a Phantom4RTK for RTK-mapping. I know that it supports the NTRIP service, but i never used it in that way.
Maybe someone here already has some experiences or a good workflow and can help me in setting up my R10.
Thank you in advance!
There are a couple of ways to go about this. If you have Trimble Access running on the T10, then to you could set up and internet base in TA General Survey. Alternatively you could use the Web UI to set up an NTRIP caster. If you need to set up a Mount Point name and\or username and password then the Web UI is the better option. In both cases it helps to have a SIM card with a Static IP address.
I will briefly list the steps in configuring the Web UI. However I would recommend you talk to your local dealer and get their help in setting this up. They will be able to provide you support in your language and time zone and will have a good understanding of the local cellular providers.
The steps are:
1. The SIM card in the R10, connect to the WeB UI and configure your internet connection. In the Web UI do this in GSM/GPRS Modem, Configuration.
2. Enter your R10 reference station name and coordinates in Receiver Configuration, Reference Station.
3. Enable and set up your NTRIP caster (Port, Mount Point, broadcast format, etc) under I/O Configuration, Port Configuration.
4. Go to Network Configuration, Summary. Note down the shown IP address under PPP Remote address. This and the prior set up port are needed to connect to the NTRIP caster.
5. Setup the username and password for your NTRIP caster under Security, Configuration.
