Alignment Design

Alignment Design in Novapoint is one of the key functions for modeling roads and railways. The Alignment Design Dialog gives full flexibility in finding the optimal horizontal and vertical alignment to roads and railways while keeping within the appropriate standards.

Alignment Design Dialog is activated from the following places in your CAD-program:

MOUS_ICO Ribbon: Road: Alignment Design Alignment Design
MOUS_ICO Menu: Road > Alignment Design... Alignment Design…
MOUS_ICO Toolbar: Road: Alignment Design... Alignment Design…
The Alignment Design Dialog can also be startet from the Object Menu (NCO) function in the Novapoint menu. When activating the function it is possible to select either an existing alignment, line or polyline from the plan drawing.

Select Alignment Design from the pop-up menu.

The Alignment Design Window consists of these parts:
Menu
Toolbar
Element Data
Action Buttons
Status Bar
