GeoSuite

To get around the problem with DWGUNITS set to other than [m] as a unit, you can create your own Template. Recommended to use the template that comes with GeoSuite Installation as the basis.

1. Locate the Template file in the Geosuite folder - typically: C:\Program Files (x86)\Trimble\Novapoint\GeoSuite\16\CAD
2. Copy the file to Your AppData-folder - such as: C:\Users\my_account\AppData\Roaming\Trimble\Novapoint\GeoSuite, where my_account is Your Login name on the PC. (The AppData folder may be hidden, then try typing in the patch in Your Explorer)
3. Start Your preferred AutoCAD version
4. Open the Template (in Your AppData folder)
5. Give the Command: DWGUNITS
6. Set “Drawing units” to <6> - Meters
7. Set “Drawing unit display formats” to <2> - Decimal
8. Set default values for the rest - or other preferred values.
9. Save the GSTemplate.dwt
10. Close AotuCAD

Set ACADTEMPLATE= in GeoSuite. ini to use Your custom template instead of the Geosuite default template.
