Novapoint

To get around the problem with DWGUNITS set to other than [m] as a unit, you can create your own Template. Recommended to use the template that comes with GeoSuite Installation as the basis.

ToDo
- Locate the Template file in the GeoSuite folder - typically: C:\Program Files (x86)\Trimble\Novapoint\GeoSuite\16\CAD
- Copy the file to Your AppData-folder - such as: C:\Users\//my_account//\AppData\Roaming\Trimble\Novapoint\GeoSuite, where //my_account// is Your Login name on the PC. (The AppData folder may be hidden, then try typing in the patch in Your Explorer)
- Start Your preferred AutoCAD version
- Open the Template (in Your AppData folder)
- Give the Command: DWGUNITS
- Set "Drawing units" to <6> - Meters
- Set "Drawing unit display formats" to <2> - Decimal
- Set default values for the rest - or other preferred values.
- Save the GSTemplate.dwt
- Close AutoCAD

Set ACADTEMPLATE= in GeoSuite. ini to use Your custom template insted of the GeoSuite default template.
