Draw frames along centerline

What

Use this function to draw plan frames along selected line. The plan frames thus obtained are further used in the function Plan and Profile Layout Generator.

Where

Run the function form the following location:

How

  1. Start the function
  2. Command prompts for:
    Pick a line, arc, polyline: (Select the centreline/alignment, along which plan-frames are to be drawn.)
  3. The dialog Select Page Format will pop up where the drawing sheet (A0, A1, A2, etc.,), orientation, title block, etc., are to be defined.
    - Select the pre-defined drawing sheet, define the orientation, select the title box using the button Title box and confirm with the button OK.
    - The frame to be used for the function Autodraw Plan and Profile is Half height A1. The frame covers a length of 750.0m of the road plan.
    The number of frames generated along the line are influenced by the setting Profile interval in the function Draw Matchlines Along Line. E.g. if the Profile interval is set to 700, a plan frame will be generated for every 700 meters along the line
