Novapoint Road Library

Use this function to generate profile frames along the selected line. The profiles frames thus obtained are further used in the function Autodraw Plan and Profile.

• The profile frames will be drawn according to the active vertical alignment drawing style. Refer to the topic Select Vertical Alignment Drawing Style, for changing the drawing setup.

Run the function from the following locations:

MOUS_ICO Toolbar: Not available from the Toolbar
MOUS_ICO Menu: Road > Drawing Generator > Plan and Profile > Draw Profile Frames along Line

MOUS_ICO Menu: Railway > Drawing Generator > Draw Profile Frames along Line

Command prompts for:

Pick a line, arc, polyline:

Select the centreline/alignment along which profile-frames are to be drawn.

Pick lower-left corner for the first vertical alignment frame <0.00,0.00,0.00>:

Pick the insertion point from the AutoCAD screen or define the insertion point at the command line.

The plan-frames will be drawn as shown in the illustration diagram.
