Subject: On August 30th, 2021 support for Trimble Connect for HoloLens 2.x compatible with Microsoft HoloLens 1 device has come to an end.
Why is this happening? Like we announced in the beginning of August in the TCH v 3.5 release. Due to significant changes in functionality between Microsoft HoloLens 1 and Microsoft HoloLens 2, all releases of Trimble Connect for HoloLens 3.0 & later were developed exclusively for Microsoft HoloLens 2 and Trimble XR10 with HoloLens 2. New versions will not be compatible with Microsoft HoloLens 1 after August 30th, 2021. We have discontinued support for all versions (TCH v2.x) that run on HoloLens 1 and withdrew it from the Microsoft Store.
What is the impact?
Customers can no longer use the Trimble Connect application on Microsoft HoloLens 1 after August 30, 2021. Trimble Connect will only run on Microsoft HoloLens 2 & XR10 based devices
What happens to Project Data?
All of your project data in Trimble Connect will remain intact and customers can continue working on all Trimble Connect platforms, including mixed reality via HoloLens 2 based devices running TCH v3.3 or later.
What can customers do to continue working with Trimble Connect for HoloLens?
We recommend that customers upgrade to using the Trimble XR10 with HoloLens 2 device and Trimble Connect for HoloLens v3.3 or later.

The Trimble Connect for HoloLens application is available for download in the Microsoft Store, accessed directly from any Microsoft HoloLens 2 based device.
