Before digitizing the boreholes

1. Open the project and make sure you are connected to Geosuite.
2. Open an empty drawing.

• • Digitize old boreholes: Insert the old drawing. Format could be pdf, raster image referens etc
  • Digitize new boreholes: Inset a base map.

       3. Digitize old boreholes: 

• • If the  coordinates are on plan system ST75 and the elevation system RH00, then the drawing should be inserted by X,Y.
  • If you have a house or a clear object the drawing can be inserted by the corners if the object. This can be donde only if you have a base map. 
  • Make sure you Scale and Rotate, so that the drawing is situated correctly.
  • Important! Be aware that the difference between the elevation systems RH00 ans RH2000 IS +0.52.

To generate the boreholes do the following steps:

1. In Civil3D go to GSPlan and choose Digitalisering. The textbox shown below will appear.
2. Click on Skapa nya ID (Create new ID). If the metods are set click on Inkludera metoder/provtagning (Include methods/samplings).
3. Choose type e.g. Borrhål (Borehole), Grundvattenrör (Groundwater pipe) . When the choice has been made click on nytt ID (new ID).
4. Point out the old ID/new ID on the drawing.
5. Rename the ID accordingly.

• • Old boreholes: YEAR/CONSULTANT/NUMBER

• • New boreholes: YEAR/INITIALS/NUMBER

6. Create a PXY file and save it under the project folder: Arkiv/Kommuikation/Utskrift/PXY-format.

7. The creatd PXY file can be read into the a surveying program (eg. SBG GEO). There you can easily change the elevation system e.g. from the old system  Plansystem ST74, Höjdsystem RH00 to the new sytem Plansystem SWEREF, Höjdsytem RH2000. 

8. When the PXY has been changed, save it and re read the new PXY file in GS. The new PXY can be saves here : Arkiv/Kommunikation/Inläsning/PXY-format.

9. Regarding old boreholes:

Go into GS and click on the ID list, mark an ID, right clik and choose a method.

When the data has been insterted, always, draw the boreholes in WinRit to make sure that the boreholes looks like the original.
