As described in Soil & Rock subsurfaces there are easy and powerful tools available to design subsurfaces in Novapoint.

How to export these TIN model to other target platforms?

The recommendation to use LandXML:

1. Activate the Output panel
2. Select the tool "Export to file" /* [[en:np:geotechnics:faq:exporttrm2civil|{{:en:np:geotechnics:faq:exportfile.jpg?600|}}]] */
3. Set a appropriate name and select a "Summary task"
4. Select Features to export (the subsurface(s))
5. Select target "File format": LandXML
6. Set the "Conversion rule" to use "Default terraindata and alignment to LandXML_all surfaces":
7. Finish
