Answer: Export to Quadri model format with older Feature Catalog can be done with the export conversion rule.

This is the Feature Catalog of the current model:

Click Output > Export to file from the ribbon menu. Select QuadriModel format, and then click Select Rules.

Click Copy of the standard conversion rule _Standard. In the dialog that comes up, give a desired name, and select the desired Destination Feature Catalog.

Click Save, then OK/Save in the next dialog. After that, finish the export with the newly made conversion rule.

After opening the exported model, you will see that it has been made with the set Feature Catalog.
