Trimble Connect for HoloLens 1.3 | Release Notes | September 20 2018

Trimble Connect for HoloLens can be downloaded from the Windows App Store on your HoloLens.

If you already have the app, it should update automatically upon the next launch. 

If your app does not update automatically: 
1. Open the Store app on your HoloLens
2. Click '...' and then 'My Library'
3. Click 'More apps' and open 'Trimble Connect Demo'
4. After a few moments, the page will refresh and show an 'Update' button beside 'Launch'.

New Features

  • Space mapping utility added for visualizing your mesh quality from directly inside the app

  • HoloLens internal calibration rectification for improved 1:1 precision. This is an advanced tool that allows user to manually adjust for factory calibration issues in an individual HoloLens device that affects the conversion from digital-to-real 1:1 scale over long distances (generally +/- 2%). [Premium Feature]  

Improvements

  • World anchor support for increased model placement stability and persistence.  
  • Improved memory management increasing overall app performance. 
  • General bug fixes and housekeeping.
