Novapoint Noise Library

All entered points must have their own identity. This identity will consist of a base name and possibly a serial number.

Identity
Base name and placeholders for the location of the serial number. The base name may consist of a random composition of letters and other characters, except #. The character # is used to reserve space for the serial number. If one or several # exist in this field, these will be replaced with the current serial number, possibly with leading zeros. If there is no # in the field, a space and a four-figure number will be added after Identity.

First number
The number of the first point that is created.

Step
The following point gets the number of the first point (defined in the First number) plus the number entered here.

Example 1:

• Identity: Test
• First number: 2
• Step: 2
• gives identities: Test 0002, Test 0004, Test 0006…

Example 2:

• Identity: Test##
• First number: 1
• Step: 1
• gives identities: Test01, Test02, Test03…
