Use this function to insert illustration symbols.

Pre-defined illustration symbols (AutoCAD drawing blocks) can be inserted using this function.

Run the function from the following locations:

MOUS_ICO Toolbar: Not available from the Toolbar
MOUS_ICO Menu: Road > Tools > Illustration Symbols

The dialog 'Symbols plan/profile' will pop up.

The left pane of the dialog lists all the symbols available and the right pane holds the preview of the symbols.
To insert a symbol highlight the desired symbol either from the left pane or right pane and click 'OK'.
You can also double-click on the symbol name (right pane) or the preview to insert.

Command Prompts for:

Fetching 'F-PARSBG' (is already defined in the drawing).

The name of the symbol selected will be displayed at the command prompt. Command prompt also mentions whether the symbol is defined or not.

_INSERT Enter block name or [?]: F-PARSBG Specify insertion point or [Scale/X/Y/Z/Rotate/PScale/PX/PY/PZ/PRotate]:

Command Option	Command prompt	Prompt Answer
Scale	Specify scale factor for XYZ axes:	Enter the overall scale factor.
X	Specify X scale factor:	Enter the x-direction scale factor.
Y	Specify Y scale factor:	Enter the y-direction scale factor.
Z	Specify Z scale factor:	Enter the z-direction scale factor.
Rotate	Specify rotation angle <0.00>:	Enter the numeric value for the angle at the command prompt or pick the rotation angle from the screen by moving the mouse.
PScale	Specify preview scale factor for XYZ axes:	Enter the over scale factor for the preview of the symbol.
PX	Specify preview X scale factor:	Enter the x-scale factor for the preview of the symbol.
PY	Specify preview Y scale factor:	Enter the y-scale factor for the preview of the symbol.
PZ	Specify preview Z scale factor:	Enter the z-scale factor for the preview of the symbol.
PRotate	Specify preview rotation angle:	Enter the numeric value for the angle at the command prompt or pick the rotation angle from the screen by moving the mouse.
