What

• Use this function to present the longitudinal profile for the desired trench of the active water and sewer project.
• It is important to know that the generated profile will show the model at the time it was generated. Use update longitudinal profile to update if the model is modified.
• The active water and sewer project is referred to as a simple model and the trench of the model is referred as a baseline.
• Scale in the Novapoint ribbon controls indicated to scale.
• The drawing layout will be according to the configuration.
• Go to the configuration, settings, and Presentation longitudinal profile... to change layer names, layer colors, line types, etc...
• Create user-defined presentation style with Long Section Style Editor.

Where

The function can be run from the following location:

1. Longitudinal profile
2. Update longitudinal profile from WS model

How

• Open the dialog Longitudinal Profile
  • Select Trench and insertion point.
  • Press Draw to draw.

• Update - The profile can be updated if the model is modified
  • Calculate the model and run the function 'Update Longitudinal Profile from WS Model'.

 
Tips
Add terrain heights from lines that are offset the trace.
