You can create styles for point elevations and slope arrows here.
MOUS_ICO Menu: Landscape > Elevation tools - drawing > New point elevations setup…MOUS_ICO Toolbar: > Landscape II > New point elevations setup…
Starting the function opens the dialogue Settings - Levelling Tools. There are two different default styles and we may add a number of our own. These styles will follow the dwg file.
We start with two different default styles - “Default” and “Default - existing”. The style “Default” is the active default style and defines the appearance of point elevations and slope arrows set out in the drawing. The exception will be point elevations from terrain model - created from the use of functions Point elevation from terrain model or Point elevations from terrain model (grid)....
We may however create new styles from our “Default”-style:
All the new styles will be found in the drop-down list and may be selected to be set active. These styles will follow the dwg-file.
“Default - existing” cannot be multiplied - change parameters directly in this style if you want another appearance for existing point elevations. This style will never interfere with ordinary point elevations.
Every point elevation belongs to the style that was active when set out. If parameters are changed inside a style - point elevations will change accordingly.
Use the 'Delete'-button to delete styles. This does not apply to “Default” or “Default - existing”
The function uses AutoCAD text styles. Choose the style from the drop-down menu
Type the text height (mm in the printed drawing). A value must be defined correctly according to window settings. The text height will relate to the Novapoint scale.
The slope may be formatted as a percent or fraction.
It is possible to choose “+” and “X” in different sizes.
Type the number of decimals to be written in the drawing to decide the accuracy.
Set layer name and colour for point elevations and slope arrows. Color will follow the layer. If two different styles have the same layer name but different layer colors - the active style will set color to point elevations in both styles!
It is possible to set attributes like underlines, parentheses and boxes, manually with functions Change to point elevation retained, Change to point elevation omitted and Terrace height. However, you may also let this be automatically defined in our styles. The option 'Ignore' is set default - manually created attributes will not be affected then.
Point elevations will always follow the active Novapoint scale when set out. If the scale is altered, point elevations already in the drawing will maintain their size, whereas new ones will get their size according to the active scale. By selecting 'Follow Novapoint scale', point elevations will automatically change size in the drawing if the scale is altered.
Use this button to select point elevations in drawing to be part of the selected style. This style will also be set active.
