Novapoint and Quadri 3rd Party-Related Issues

TROUBLE CAUSED BY 3RD PARTY SOFTWARES

In some cases the user may experience issues in Quadri and Novapoint that are related to 3rd Party software drivers.
In most cases the problems related to these drivers can be avoided by down-/upgrading the 3rd Party software.

Windows 10 Description
Version 2004 Alignment Design in the Road or Railway module may crash in different circumstances. For more info click here.
We have seen situations where the length of geometry elements get set to -nan(ind) that it is related to this Windows version.

Normally upgrading the NVIDIA-driver will help, but as not all graphic cards get the newest drivers some will need to up-/downgrade their Windows 10.
NVIDIA Description
( Driver 419.17) 3D presentations may crash when updating data in the model.
Driver 419.67 3D presentations may crash when updating data in the model.
As a general recommendation we ask you to always update the latest drivers/versions for Windows and NVIDIA.

Remember to also set the NVIDIA graphics card as the one to use in the NVIDIA Control Panel for both Quadri/Novapoint and CAD.

Still, when having issues in Quadri or Novapoint, consider downgrading your Windows or NVIDIA as the latest drivers may not be the best one for your computer.
You may need to ask of help from your local IT department for this.
