Quantities
The mass report delivers incorrect quantities. The value for superstructure is 0. How can I fix this?

Answer: Do you see the volume features in the model, but do not get them to the quantity report?
Are the quantities displayed using 'Show in table' on the task? The error is probably due to the fact that not all the volume features validates and you can check it in the process tree under 'Features' and go down to 'Superstructure / Substructure layer'. The features that do not validate are red.

Generating a quantity report will also give an error message in Process Info:

Try rebuilding the road task -
Are you not able to see the volume features?
Answer: Controll the drawing rule to include the superstructure layers, and they should be displayed. Many of the usual drawing rules that follow the installation should have this included. The reason for their absence is because there are new features for the superstructure layers in Novapoint 21, and they are not captured if the drawing rule is not adapted to this. Try the drawing rule “Default” or “Draw all”.
Are you not able to see the volume objects at all in 3D?Answer: Please see if the 'Create Solids' checkbox at the bottom right in Settings is not turned off.
Are you still not able to see the volume features?Answer: You may have installed and used a version before NP20.FP7 after installing NP21, which has overwritten a file.
Check in the road task conversion rules and scroll down to below the road surface numbers.
Do you see the text - missing Feature Type Id = 13 - in the left column? LegacyLayer should have been written here, and the file for LegacyNovapointTypes has probably been overwritten in some context.

We recommend deleting only the file (s) that have become incorrect. The file (s) to be deleted are named LegacyNovapoint_9008_1.02.dat and LegacyNovapoint_9008_1.03.dat and are located here: C: \ Users \ ## user ## \ AppData \ Local \ Qg4 \ Novapoint \ FeatureCatalouges After this operation, you will need to restart Novapoint for the file to reload.
Incorrect quantities of rock, and in unexpected places. What is wrong?
Answer: This is usually a consequence of incorrect settings for calculation basis. Check Your calculation basis! When a subsurface layer is included in the calculation basis it is always needed that you have defined (and are using) a rock surface covering the entire geographical area for which you have a ground surface.
