There is a new version of the Trimble Connect for Browser 3D Viewer available at  https://3d.connect.trimble.com. Version identifier for this release is: 1.3.10

 

To load the new version to your browser, click the refresh link when the version update message is displayed.



This version update contains new features:


Models panel automatic synchronization. Now the models panel will update automatically when new models or model versions are uploaded to the project, or if models are deleted from the project while viewing them. Also the models panel search box will now find models from all subfolders.








This version update contains improvements and fixes:

 

  • Clicking the “Reset model” button now also resets colors back to defaults if the data table “Colorize groups” feature was active
  • There is a new message box shown with instructions if a corrupted 3D model is detected
  • Fixed an issue where loading older version of the model did not load the correct alignment / placement
  • Fixed an issue where creating a ToDo with a transparent object in the embedded view failed
  • Fixed an issue where opening a 2D view attached to a ToDo failed
  • Fixed an issue where items were missing from model hierarchy in a certain IFC model
  • Fixed an issue where updating a ToDo after editing the markup in the embedded view failed
  • New version of the Workspace API npm package (1.1.6)
    • Data table search filter is now available in the API

Update: The models panel automatic synchronization feature has been disabled for now to address a technical issue that was discovered after deploying the feature. The 3D viewer and the models panel continue to function the same way as before the automatic sync feature was introduced. We will update this release note when the automatic sync feature has been re-enabled.
