There is a new version of the Trimble Connect for Browser 3D Viewer available at  https://3d.connect.trimble.com. Version identifier for this release is: 1.4.1

 

To load the new version to your browser, click the refresh link when the version update message is displayed.



Updated device requirements


The change that was announced in the banner message and in the Connect Product Updates forum in early January has been deployed in this release. In short, the Trimble Connect 3D viewer now requires iOS version 15 or higher on Apple iOS devices.

This version update contains improvements and fixes:

 

  • Improved the draw markup tool: Now the drawn markup stays in the same plane from where drawing the markup started. This enables the markup to continue across void spaces without interruption:
  • Improved snapping to main alignments in road models when creating a vertical clip plane:

The issue is fixed now by releasing a new version. To load the new version to your browser, click the refresh link when the version update message is displayed.

We have identified an issue with streaming .purl point clouds. We're investigating the issue and planning to fix it as soon as possible.

Seems that .purl point cloud links don't work anymore? Based on the browser console, the LASDecoderWorker.js is returning error 403 and some other issues as well..
