To load the new version to your browser, click the refresh link when the version update message is displayed.
Note: Business Premium license is required to create and edit rule-based groups. Now it is possible to create new type of organizer groups: Create rule-based group option is available both in the Organizer panel and in the Data table:
Organizer groups are a user created hierarchical structure for grouping model objects together for quick access using object linking. Until now, linking objects to Organizer groups has been a manual process. The new rule-based organizer groups feature makes the object linking process more automatic by allowing the user to create a rule by which the hierarchical organizer group is automatically created by the application.
The Rule definition has up to 5 parts in it
After the rule is saved, the application creates the Organizer group and subgroups and links model objects into the subgroups based on the rule. When you click a rule-based organizer group in the Organizer panel, the associated models are loaded in the 3D viewer. To show the coloring, click the icon in front of the rule-based group name.
After a new model version is uploaded, or custom properties are edited, the rule-based organizer group must be updated by clicking the “Update group” option in the context menu
The Organizer access control is available for the rule-based organizer groups. Use it for example to give read only access to most user groups and edit access only to few.
At the moment of launch, only the English language is supported in the Rule-based Organizer.. Localization of other languages will be added soon.
More information about the Rule-based organizer feature is available in the Workflow Extensions User Guide.
