Trimble Connect for Browser 3D Viewer now has walk mode. This will help the users interact with the model in a frictionless manner . Earlier, our users had to rely on mouse scroll based pan and zoom which created lot of unintended stops and interruptions. With the walk mode, now you can now have just keyboard based movements on your PC or laptop and browse seamlessly through the model (have a gamified experience) .
Following are the steps -
1.Click on the Walk mode in 3D Viewer toolbar
2.An instruction menu will appear that shows the keypad buttons to be used to experience the walk mode in a model . You can use the arrow keys or the mentioned letters (WASD , QE ) for the respective experiences.
3. For a gaming , smoother and faster experience, you can select “Pointer Lock” . However, in this mode use of the mouse should be avoided. You can use Esc key to exit from the Pointer lock mode.
NOTE
The instruction menu can be hidden using the collapse menu option.
