Trimble Catalyst - Network Connectivity Issue

03-21-2019 20:53

Some Catalyst users are reporting difficulties signing in to the Trimble Mobile Manager application. This issue presents as a flashing screen on the Trimble Mobile Manager app, and a pop-up message with a "connectivity" error which prevents the user from being able to sign in and use their Catalyst subscription. Trimble is aware of this problem and urgently working towards a solution.

The Trimble Catalyst team have determined that this issue is related to recent Chrome app updates pushed to some Android devices over the last week. The problem does not affect all users or all phones consistently. As a temporary work around for customers experiencing this issue, disabling the Chrome browser on your Android device will allow the sign-in to work properly. While this is not a permanent solution, it does allow you to continue to sign-in and use your Catalyst subscription. The Chrome app is able to be enabled/disabled from the Apps section of the Android Settings app on your device.

We will publish another update when this issue has been corrected.

Regards,
Trimble Catalyst Team
