Connect for Mobile v2.11.1(Beta for v2.12) is now available in Google Play Store and Apple iOS App Store. The changes made are listed below. We are planning to push this to Production by Jun 24.
You can add clip-plane or vertical clip-plane from the option in the bottom bar.
Insert the clip plane at a picked point. You can then tap and drag to move the inserted clip plane.
Remove one or multiple clip-planes by tapping the clip-plane icon.
We are targeting to make the options of the existing viewer available in the new 3D viewer as well.
Options are now available to enable or disable the following - Mark-ups, Clip-Planes, Assembly Selection, Multi-Selection, Orthographic Projection and Object Links.
Open 3D files and views attached to ToDos in the new viewer.
For measurements shown in 3D views, measurement values will be displayed as per the units set for the project.
Cloud-Markups can now be created , edited and deleted from the new model viewer.
Open 3D files and Views from Quick Access in either existing or new viewers. Tap on the corresponding 3D file/view Quick Access card to get the options.
2DViewer - Zoom into the viewer didn’t stay at the right location on the first attempt. This has been addressed now.
Once settings in object property are updated from the old viewer, the app crashes when the user tries to launch a file/view in the new viewer.
View parity issues exist in the color, transparency, selection states across clients.
Models with more than 2500 object links tend to make the model render slower. We are aiming to optimize this in a subsequent release.
Parity issues can be found in the visualization of the markups and measurements.
Unit settings not applied to measurement value.
Embedded views might get listed in the views list screen.
Views that are created from TCM after hiding the model will not be reflected properly in other clients. On launching this view in TCM, the show / hide model won’t be reflected properly. User has to tap “Show all” to view all the models on screen.
Occasionally, on loading large model files onto the 3D viewer, application crashes (or) gets into not responding state, due to memory constraints
Size of the measurement values might be bigger in tablet devices.
Models with a large number of objects might not be rendered properly while performing Pan/Zoom operations in the model viewer.
There might be parity issues with respect to View visualization across clients for features related to Orthographic projection and Global transparency.
Sometimes, it takes a longer time to fetch and display the views in the Views list screen.
Model alignment values set from other clients are not properly reflected in TCM.
Slowness is observed while displaying the “Statuses” option in the right dragger of the model viewer screen.
It takes longer time for the progress bar to complete, in case of a large projects list
Occasionally, an empty thumbnail is displayed for “Todo” attachments.
Occasionally, it takes a longer time for the project contents to be displayed after clearing “Local cache contents”.
Occasionally, slowness is observed when switching between tabs (Data /Todo /View /Team).
View updated by deselecting/unhiding all the objects is not updated properly.
Views are not deleted from the server even after the associated ToDo is deleted.
But users will be able to delete views after detaching from ToDo.
Download alert popover is displayed in f3d viewer on selecting another QA card when download is in progress for f3d file
Download initiates taking more time when we launch in WebGL Viewer [~10 secs]
Edit hint text not displayed for Vertical clipplane

Multi selection object views are not displayed as a selection state in WebGL viewer for specific devices(iPad)
GlobalIds that are received from assimilation does not match between TCM/TCW/TCD. Due to this links created will not be visible across clients for non-Ifc formats.
Measurement values will be displayed with the accuracy up to 1/10th position in “Millimeter” unit.
Offline Logout - User cannot log out in offline mode since the browser cannot be launched without an internet connection.
View parity issues:
Layers states, Color and Transparency
While downloading files, the sizes for model files are fetched from the ‘Files’ collection, which may/may not be the final size for the assimilated ‘f3d’ file.
During the assimilation process at the backend, the file conversion results in a change in the file size manifold
Hence while downloading model files, the size required for storing it in the device storage, will not be appropriate.
UI in tablets is shown in compatible mode.
Revit file assimilation issue
Crash is observed by hiding all layers of Green Dunes model, in Moto G2 device.
Layer list is inconsistent on creating or showing views shared across platforms.
Sometimes empty thumbnails are shown for files for which assimilation is not completed.
Image attachment from the camera/Gallery is getting rotate 90 degrees after sync.
Model group is not getting created when the user tries to create model group with cloud model
QA project sync sometimes happens slowly when we get back to Project screen
Some performance glitches were seen in a few screens when we opened the existing ToDo’s.
Apps get crashed at times for the very first launch of the project and launch models.
For the first time launch, Projects won't display unless we do manual pull to refresh when we change to different POD.
