About this release

Connect for Mobile v3.0.6 is now available . 

Changes & Issue fixes

  • Connect for Mobile (iOS) is now migrated to MAUI (Multi-platform App UI) to prevent any issues to our users due to end of support for Xamarin (relevant post). 

  • Android and iOS MAUI had issues with Hololens companion login. This is now fixed. 

 

NOTE : 

  • The Android MAUI version was released in June 2024.
  • To comply with Apple AppStore guidelines, we have now introduced an option to "Delete my user identity" in the Connect for Mobile.  This will help the users to initiate request for deleting their user ID if they want to.

Are you aware of any issues with Hololens companion on iOS? I'm using newer 3.0.10 version. When I click Hololens companion I get a white screen, with the only way out of it to click "Done"  at top left. When I click Done the pulsing QR code loads, but runs off the bottom of the screen and does not work with the Hololens.

If I click "Re-generate QR code" on blue bar near the bottom it takes me back to the white screen with the "Done" button. Restarting the iPad didn't address this.
