About this release

Connect for Mobile v3.0.8 is now available. 

Improvements

• We have introduced “Area selection mode” in the 3D Viewer. You can opt for this and use on screen drag action to select multiple model objects in a 3D model.  This will save your efforts from individually selecting model objects (in the existing Multi select mode) . 

NOTE : Selecting a large number of 3D model objects will cause performance issues. We have observed performance issues (non responsive state) when the number of model object properties exceeds 7000. 

• Status sharing in Trimble Connect for Mobile has now been improved to address the user confusion caused by differences in cases where different statutes were applied to assembly and parts in a 3D model. Assembly status will take precedence over parts status.

• Improvements to Hungarian and Polish languages - We have incorporated feedback from our customers on the improvements needed for these 2 languages. 

Issue Fixes

• The iOS version had an issue with adding multiple favorite properties to the 3D model. This is now resolved. 

• In iOS devices - while changing Measurement units in Unit Settings , there were app crashes. This is now handled. 

• The option to add files, photos in Todos had disappeared. This is now fixed. 

• Todos - While switching between Title , Description - one of the text would disappear. This is now fixed.
