This Object Manager release includes these new features and enhancements:
NEW: The option (on the Configure Associations page in the IFC Reader Settings dialog) to create a spatial breakdown structure when importing an IFC file is now also available for server models.
IMPROVED: DWG file import - Importing regions is now fully supported.
IMPROVED: The performance of IFC file import has been improved.
IMPROVED: The IFC Basic and IFC Default presentation rules are improved.
NEW: IFC file Export - Support for IfcTask and IfcTaskTime is now included.
NEW: You can now export to Esri Shapefile.
IMPROVED: Publish 3D - TRB export layering: You can now use attribute values to generate layers.
IMPROVED: IFC file Export - It is now possible to turn off quantity sets and generic property sets in an exported file on the Property Set page in the IFC Export settings dialog.
IMPROVED: The "Copy values from parent to children" action now supports copying values from a source attribute other than the target attribute. Regular expression formatting options are included as well.
IMPROVED: The "Create child object" action now supports regular expression formatting of conditions and allows for creating a child object without any conditions.
IMPROVED: The "Modify object" action now allows you to specify the delimiter sign between the property set name and the property name used in an CSV file connected to the action.
IMPROVED: When using the option to include the parent objects of an object added to the canvas, the OTHER children of the parent object are no longer added along with the parent.
NEW: A new template for importing only the spatial breakdowns structure from an IFC file is included in the IfcSite sub-tool.
NEW: Support for IfcSpatialZone is now included in the Spatial Structure Entity subtool.
NEW: A explorer context menu option for inserting an imported spatial breakdown structure into the main spatial breakdown structure is now included. The menu option is: "Insert this imported structure into the Spatial Structure".
IMPROVED: Quadri.IFC models - You can now show both "contained in" objects and "referenced in" objects for the same spatial breakdown task.
This Object Manager release also includes fixes for reported or discovered cases in which:
Filters in Dynamic Query disappeared after sharing and releasing.
ProjectWise: You could not import flatsets from DGNs.
Several crash bugs and missing data bugs were encountered.
Exported IFC files: The IfcLocalPlacements for the physical objects in the exported IFC file did not refer to the spatial structure entity they were contained in.
Exported IFC files: The conversion of generic property strings changed from string to Wstring.
ProjectWise: Document versioning on export was incorrect.
Export 3D presentation (TrimBIM) took a long time when the origin was incorrect.
Several bugs were encountered in the "Attribute Comparison" and "Object's Attribute Comparison" object queries.
Crash in the action: "Set values on attribute type independent of feature type" when the value is not specified.
Some swept/extruded geometry in exported IFC files are shown twisted in receiving software. We are investigating if there is an error in the exported IFC file or in the receiving software.
IFC 4.3 export: Some exported BREP geometries get validation errors in the buildingSMART Validation Service.
When using a model with no defined coordinate reference system (CRS), using IfcMapConversion when exporting IFC 4 files and IfcRigidOperation when exporting IFC 4.3 files resulted in the wrong location of object geometry in the exported IFC file.
WFS import is not working properly.
Sharing empty relation tasks fails.
