Trimble is pleased to announce the release of Trimble® Terra™ Office software version 2025.30. This update significantly expands the capabilities of the Terra Office add-in for Esri® ArcGIS® Pro, enabling Esri customers to fully manage their Trimble TerraFlex® field workflows without leaving their primary GIS environment. Included in this release are an integrated template editor, multi-language support, and enhancements to Local project workflows.
The Terra Office add-in for ArcGIS Pro remains the primary enabler for Esri customers to utilize TerraFlex workflows. By providing a direct connection to ArcGIS infrastructure (feature services and geodatabases) for schema and feature data exchange, it eliminates outdated manual import/export methodologies. This update ensures that the modern Esri customer has a fully integrated, localized, and professional high-accuracy data collection solution based on Trimble GNSS and Trimble Offline GNSS Corrections™.
This release of Terra Office also includes maintenance updates for the standalone Terra Office application and the Terra Office add-in for ArcMap®.
This release introduces critical features that bring the ArcGIS add-in workflow for TerraFlex much closer to parity with the Trimble Connect Map Viewer-based workflow.
The most significant addition in this release is a template editor for TerraFlex workflows. Esri users can now fully configure the field data collection experience, including attribute order, layout (pages and groups), and attribute rules, for both Cloud and Local projects. For the first time in desktop-initiated projects, users can also enable sensor workflows, barcode values, and signature capture. This allows desktop users to prepare complex data collection templates within their GIS authoring environment, eliminating the need to edit templates in Map Viewer after publishing.
To better serve our global customer base, the Terra Office add-in is now localized into 9 languages in addition to English: German, Spanish (Latin America), Finnish, French, Italian, Japanese, Danish, Dutch, and Portuguese (Brazil). This expansion allows users in these regions to operate the full TerraFlex solution — from office to field — in their native language. The standalone Terra Office application was localized into these languages in a previous release.
Local project workflows have been improved by adding tools for creating background maps. This allows the add-in user to create both raster offline basemaps and vector layer packages from their ArcGIS Pro maps specifically for use in TerraFlex Local projects. This brings the add-in close to functional parity with the Terra Office add-in for ArcMap, ensuring a transition for long-time users.
The 2025.30 version of Terra Office is now available to download from the Trimble Geospatial website.
