What

Use this function to view the cross-sections of the desired trench of the active Water and Sewer project.

• All the cross-sections of the selected trench can be browsed in the dialog box Cross-Section Viewer.
• The minimum requirement to view the cross-sections is that the cross-sections are calculated using the function “Calculations”.
• The cross-sections can be viewed at the interval, with which cross-sections are calculated. Refer the Quantity Settings of the topic “Calculations”.

The dialog box Select Trench will pop up, which lists all the trench sections available in the project.

• Select the trench, of which the cross-sections are to be viewed.

Then the dialog box Cross-Section Viewer will pop up.

• Browse the cross-sections using the vertical scroll bar.
• Terrain surface, reference line, pipes, chainage, trench, etc., details can be viewed.

Use this icon to switch On/Off the vertical and horizontal rulers.

• The ruler depicts the width for 0.5m steps, depending on the “scale”.
• Option to display the elevation relative to the reference point of the reference pipe or absolute elevations can be selected from the icon Level or Relative level.

Use this icon to switch On/Off the grid in the graphic area.

• The grid size is 0.1 X 0.1 meter.

Use these icons for pan and zoom actions.

Zoom Ditch

Use the icon 'Zoom Ditch' to zoom the actual cross section quickly.
