Trimble Connect for Browser 2.55 & 2.56 | Release Notes | July 27 2017

New Features
  • Root folder permissions: Project administrators can now restrict uploading files or creating new folders directly under the root folder to enforce the project folder structure

 
  • Search files commands: Project users can easily Share, Export to Excel, Add to ToDo, Add to Release etc. with files directly from search results.

 
  • Releases files commands: Project users can View files, Add to a Release, ToDo, Share, Export to Excel etc. with files directly from a release.

  • Comment attachments: Project users can attach documents from Trimble Connect, Upload attachment or add a URL to provide more information in the comment for better collaboration

    • Restore folder permissions: Option to retain original folder permissions or inherit current permissions from parent folder with restore

    • Team Invite: Easily add more users from your company directory

    • Object linking API (attaching documents and links to BIMObjects) See documentation
    • Select any 3D view in Revit for upload

    • "Workspace already exists" error is thrown even when no other workspace exists with the same name
    • Alignment issue in Datum filter text box
    • P11 - upgrade popup should be seen for invited user when free project limit exceeds max storage
    • [TC SDK] JSON file is being truncated
    • Occasionally it is possible to create a duplicate subfolder with the same name: TCPS 679
    • TCPS-681 Folder items in Object Sync API response are not ordered by time
    • Change response msg for duplicate folder with no access permission
    • [Share Data] Adding comma(,) in the description take the cursor to the recipient field
    • Restored map workspace doesn't land in correct workspace instead it redirects to the default workspace after throwing error
    • Maps: Form rules, check box not saved
    • Template editor jumps back when Choice data type selected
    • Maps: Inconsistent date formats
    • Load Test Issue : Slowness observed in AP POD (both Private and Public APIs)
    • [Activity] Project activity is taking much time to load
    • Deleted thumbnail download failed :TCPS(711)
    • Multipart upload API should be supported for embedded files as well (TCPS-710)
    • [public links]file thumbnails are not seen in emails When sender shared no access files to the user
    • Maps: loss of connection to server should not result in projects being unassigned

    • Harmonize settings: Update BE code for Custom Report export, to provide support for full set of units & precision

    • Maps: Features should be grouped by layer and geometry type in selection window
