Trimble Connect Share files security upgrade & impacts

The Trimble Connect team has performed a security upgrade and as a result of this update,  some of the functionalities associated with our ‘share file/model’  functionalities  have been impacted. Links to directly download previously-shared files will be invalidated; users can download the files from the Viewer or the project member can re-share to create a new valid link.
Please  find below the detailed impacts of the change on each of the ‘share modes.’

Summary of what to expect

1. “Download All” button in the email will not work for any share modes (“Any users with the Link” , “Signed in users with the link” , “Specific members of the project”) .  The users will be redirected to the following page - 

2. Any past “View and download” shares will work from the ”Open” option in the email or from the shared URL. Hence the user can open the file from the email “Open” button or directly from the shared URL.  The Download from Viewer will be possible ( learn more below).

Selecting the “download” option as shown in screenshot below in the 3d viewer for older links will work.
