XML file/Invalid query parameter value error in the Connect for Browser

Our users have observed issues in Connect for Browser while launching the 3D Files, 3D Views (from Files Explorer , 3D Views list) and Custom PropertySet UI . Apologies for the inconvenience caused. 



The issue has been inconsistent and not easily reproducible. We are investigating the root cause for this so that we can provide a permanent fix.

In the meantime we suggest our users (facing this issue)  to use any of the following  workarounds that solve the issue (observed so far)  - 

  1. Refresh the Browser (Ctrl + F5 for Chrome/Edge) 
  2. Clear cache and browsing history. Sometimes direct method of clearing cache from Chrome Browser settings may not work.  In such a situation , you could follow these steps - a. Open Chrome 3 dot option on top right > More Tools > Developer Tools. 
    b. Navigate back to the main Chrome browser and select "Empty Cache and Hard Refresh".   
  3. From the browser URL  , if there is versionID parameter , please remove it or rename it from versionID to version1ID.   


  4. Please use the 3D toggle option from the Connect Web Projects list (https://web.connect.trimble.com/projects) .

    5. For loading 3D files / views , you could also use - https://3d.connect.trimble.com/
    6. In case you are facing issues with Connect Maps Viewer , please use - https://viewer.maps.trimblegeospatial.com/app/#
